Types of Service

St Peters Church has many types of worship to support those who live far and near. Church Services, Bible study, home groups. We are delighted that the Church of Malagasy in Creil also uses St Peters to hold regular services.

We have very good connections with other local churches. There are Roman Catholic churches in nearly every village and congregations of the Eglise Réformée de France in Creil, Compiègne and Beauvais and Evangelical Churches in Chantilly, Lamorlaye, and Nogent sur Oise. We also have good links with the other English-speaking churches in the Paris region.

Vision and Mission

Our vision at St. Peter’s is to be an outward looking church without walls, serving our community and the wider world with the good news about Jesus.  Our community is sustained and empowered through encountering God in worship, prayer and study of the bible, and our relationships with each other as we support, encourage, honour and care for one another.
We value hospitality, generosity appreciating the traditional and contemporary, encountering the presence of God.

Our priorities for 2020 – 2024

  • Our ministry to young adults and Children
  • Our Home groups
  • Establish our work with migrants and refugees
  • Establish ourselves as an Ecological Church

Our Mission is to welcome people and create services that are accessible to people of all ages and stages of faith, and to those who are searching or unsure.
To create opportunities for outreach with children, youth, families, the elderly and refugees
To maintain our facilities for church and community events in an environmentally sustainable way.

Church of Malagasy

The Malagasy Lutheran Church (in Malagasy it is known as FLM: Fiangonana Loterana Malagasy) is one of the most important Christian churches in Madagascar. There is a church in Creil, that is using St Peters facilities for their worship.

Weddings and Funerals

At St. Peter’s, we count it a privilege to be a part of the significant events of people’s lives, and offer stability and support in changing times. We conduct weddings and we offer a marriage preparation course for couples. We also hold funeral ceremonies.
